The Start Debug (STRDBG) command can be used for debugging OPM programs, ILE programs, and Java classes. This chapter discusses debugging ILE programs and OPM programs with the full-screen ILE debugger. For information about debugging OPM programs with the line-oriented debugger, see Appendix D.
The Start Debug (STRDBG) command starts the ILE interactive debugger. STRDBG has many parameters, but only some of them apply to ILE.
PGM (Program): The qualified names of the program objects you want to debug. You can enter up to 10 program names. If your CL program calls another program, both programs can be debugged simultaneously. If you need to add a program to the debugging session after you have run STRDBG
